IDA President was greeted by Arrif Gani - Regional Director and the lead members of the IDA Africa team. (Other members were not present due to the unfortunate loss of one’s family member).
A formal meeting was held in the hotel conference room. Each member was asked to give a formal introduction and a brief overview of their work. Discussions were held to give an overview of the past activities and outline plans for future activities of IDA Africa Region going forward into 2025.
After the conference the IDA Africa team was presented with a plaque to commemorate their successful 1 Year Anniversary. Arrif Gani was personally awarded the IDA Distinguished Service Medal for his leadership, outstanding contributions and achievements as the Regional Director for IDA Africa.
