Mr Okul was honoured as a national HERO by His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, PhD, C.G.H., the President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, for contributions in philanthropy and community development.
The ceremony, held at the State Lodge in Kitui County, was a celebration of those working quietly but persistently to uplift others. I’m grateful to stand among many other Kenyans committed to impact and service.
It was also an honour to receive this recognition in the presence of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye of Senegal and Prime Minister Maria Benvinda Levy of Mozambique — powerful reminders that our efforts resonate beyond borders.
This recognition fuels the mission. We keep going — for our communities, for the future.
